Thomsons Online Benefits launch their first global training centre in Romania

Thomsons Online Benefit, the leading provider of employee benefits software, has chosen the heart of Transylvania (Cluj-Napoca) to set up its unique global training base. The “Thomsons Academy” will be the first port of call for new joiners at the British company’s locations in London, Singapore, Cluj and, as of September 2013, Sillicon Valley.

“We see Cluj as a key hub for the development of our global business. Since our first visit here, we were incredibly impressed by the people we hired, their education, their passion and their immediate integration,” said a Thomsons spokesman recently.

The Action team on site facilitated stakeholder engagement with both local and central media, as well as local student organizations. Guests have had the opportunity to visit facilities first hand and become familiar with the benefits that investment brings to the local community.
