Siemens Celebrates a Fun-Packed Oktobeerfest 2015 in Bulgaria
As the famous Oktoberfest festival recently brought Munich to life, Action Bulgaria organised their own unique version of the celebratory occasion for the annual employee party of Siemens Bulgaria, shifting the festive atmosphere to Pravets, where the Siemens factory is located.
Almost 1000 people flocked to the exciting festival on Bulgarian soil and enjoyed traditional Bavarian meals and original Oktoberfest beer. A great bonding occasion, guests included families of the employees who were warmly welcomed by CEO of Siemens Bulgaria, Boriana Manolova, and CFO, Titus Loew. The real party kick off was then honoured by the director of the Pravets Siemens factor, Dechko Karagiozov.
Children were entertained by a whole host of entertaining activities, from drawing and dancing, to bouncy castle fun, Segway rides and plenty of other games. The young ones also got the chance to indulge in tasty treats while adults enjoyed a special ‘Beer Olympics’, dancing lessons, Segway rides, and a dedicated Oktoberfest quiz with prizes.
A great annual lottery prize draw topped off all the excitement, which saw lucky guests claim great prizes; namely home appliances manufactured by Siemens.
Not just about fun and games, Action ensured the area was meticulously decorated in true Oktoberfest fashion which added to the immersive Bavarian atmosphere and left guests enthralled. “No less enjoyable than the one in Munich,” said CFO Loew, who visits the festival in Germany on an annual basis. An all-round success, everyone went home with a beaming smile.
