Action Cyprus is looking to recruit a Social Media Manager to create effective content for social mediachannels and successfully manage online communities.

Working with us, you will collaborate with account managers, digital strategists, designers, and developers to build high-impact online brand experiences. Our goal, and part of your responsibilities, is to be our clients’ digital voice, engage and nurture their communities, share information and communicate the brand experience and exceeding client expectations and assignment objectives.

Description

Your responsibilities will include:

• creating quality copy in Greek and English for a variety of applications (social media, website and blog content, campaign slogans and taglines, hashtags etc),
• managing online communities across a number of channels (including creating ads, analysing results, and optimizing channels),
• building and optimising strategic ads across all social media channels,
• preparing and optimising other types of content to be used in your communication efforts.

You must be able to develop creative ideas and quality copy in line with the assignment brief, brand and overall strategy, collaborate with internal teams as well as clients’ teams when necessary, have excellent presentation skills, back up your choices with data, research and knowledge of the topic in question, identify trends, tribes and influencers, be up-to-date on (and passionate about) new technologies and trends in your field, and respect deadlines and adhere to them.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, journalism, English literature, or related field
• Previous experience in social media management rolein an agency will be considered an advantage
• Ability to craft engaging content in Greek and English
• Ability to play a significant part in the story research and conception
• Organized and able to multitask
• Ability to collaborate with others
• A “can-do” temperament and passion to learn and make ideas better and greater
