Action 360^x, part of Action Global Communications, an independent communications agency with a strong presence in over 40 countries, is looking for a creative Senior Web Designer to join the company’s Web division based in Nicosia.

The ideal candidate has a passion for all things web, speaks fluent English, follows digital trends, appreciates good design, graphic & typography, is excited about web animation and has a good knowledge of web design software (Adobe XD and Figma). They will work closely with our team of web developers, project managers, and our client service team to produce custom state-of-the-art websites from start to finish, including web assets creation and quality checks on various devices. They will be directly communicating progress and ideas to the team and our clients, involved in brainstorming and overseeing the proper progress of projects’ design direction throughout the development.

Key skills & responsibilities:

• Hardworking, honest, enthusiastic, and flexible to adapt to new tools and methodologies. 
• Team player who can collaborate effectively with a remote development team and project managers throughout a project’s process cycle.  
• Experience in web design with Adobe XD and Figma.  
• Experience with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects.  
• Ability to study design briefs to determine requirements, constraints, and possible improvements.
• Ability to independently handle briefing and debriefing for the development of a design to conceptualize the visuals based on requirements.
• Offering input in brainstorming sessions, creative concepts, and sharing ideas.
• Ensuring consistency of brand and creativity across web design
• Possesses a keen eye for aesthetics and details, ensuring that the final the quality of the final deliverable/product.
• Organised with excellent time management skills, and ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication and excellent inter-departmental collaboration skills, with the ability to work with designers, developers, copywriters, the client service team, or directly with the client, to produce final design. 
• Insanely curious and energetic about the future of the web and digital trends. 
• Good understanding of web design, web development, and the web in general. 
• An academic portfolio demonstrating good fundamentals in graphic design, UI design and web design. 
• Video and motion design skills are a plus.  
• Motivation to learn and constantly improve. 

Required qualifications:

• BSc or master’s degree in web design or equivalent. 
• A minimum of two years of experience in a web design role or a strong portfolio to support the experience gained.

Applicants are required to provide samples of their best and most recent work. Candidates for interviews will be assigned to produce a simple design test for evaluation purposes.
