internship: editor / animator

Action Global Communications, an independent PR network with presence in more than 40 countries, is looking for a bright editor / animator student or graduate, for a part-time or full-time paid internship, at our HQ in Nicosia, Cyprus (on-site).
Successful interns who excel expectations and establish themselves as valuable team members, will possibly be considered for a full-time junior position.

Role Description: 

• Work closely with the production team and the creative directors
• Assist client projects with production assets creation
• Get involved in brainstorming sessions and start learning the principles and workflow of Action client projects 
• Attend workshops on motion graphics/animation/editing for production and understanding the process of web development 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Fluent in English (verbal and written) 
• Comfortable with using Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator 
• Strong academic portfolio demonstrating good fundamentals in motion graphics/animation/editing
• Graphic design skills and previous experience with PowerPoint will be considered an advantage
• Basic understanding of editing and animation in general
• Passion for animation, editing and motion graphics 
• Hardworking, honest, enthusiastic, and flexible 
• Team player that can effectively collaborate with our creative teams and developers
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Follow digital trends and have knowledge of design software  
• Insanely curious and energetic about the future of design
• Motivation to learn and constantly improve 
• Must provide samples/academic portfolios of their work/projects
