Larry Fergeson appointed as managing director of public sector division

Action Global Communications has appointed Larry Fergeson as managing director of Action Public Sector. Based at the company’s Cyprus headquarters, Larry will spearhead Action’s public sector initiatives, bringing with him over 17 years of experience working with the European Union (EU) and in the international development sector.
In his new role, Larry will drive the strategic direction and growth of Action’s Public Sector work, which includes a robust portfolio of communications projects funded by major international institutions such as the European Commission, the European Investment Bank, the World Bank, and UN Agencies.
A seasoned leader in international development communications, Larry has an established track record in designing and implementing business development and communication strategies for top European technical assistance companies. Moreover, his extensive experience as project director for a wide range of EU-funded programmes and technical assistance service contracts, both within Europe and in MENA region countries, has positioned him to effectively understand and respond to the communications needs of the development sector.
His primary objective is to provide specialised strategic communication solutions to help institutional clients achieve their objectives and sustainable development goals through supporting impactful public sector projects in the EU and beyond.
“Joining Action Global Communications feels like stepping onto a global stage where every story we tell can spark real change,” said Larry Ferguson. “For years, I’ve been committed to simplifying the complexities of global development through effective messaging. At Action, I’m here to tell those stories—raw, real, and human—so they don’t just reach people; they move them to act. I’m excited to weave bold, authentic narratives to amplify our clients’ missions and inspire communities worldwide to rally behind sustainable progress.”
The appointment reflects Action’s strategic focus on strengthening its role as a communications partner of choice for international institutions and its commitment to developing powerful, localised narratives that transcend borders, languages and cultures, transforming institutional messages into impactful stories to engage citizens, create meaningful connections and drive change.
