Keeping travel destinations top of mind

As our Action Russia team recently said in their insight article on the future of the travel sector, people love to travel. And even though the industry has been hit hard by the recent epidemic, the time will come where things will pick up again. Those brands who have consistently stayed engaged with their audiences will be the ones with a leg up when that time comes. One recent example of this are the outdoor campaigns Action Russia have organised for destination clients Monaco and Malta.

The team launched a branded Super Bus campaign for Malta Tourism Authority (VisitMalta). Super Bus is a branded bus that circles around Moscow without stops and is allowed to run on routes where advertising on regular public transport is typically prohibited – such as the popular Garden Ring area in the centre of Moscow. The bus was branded with images of Malta showcasing its beautiful Mediterranean sea, transitioning passers-by to a warmer more relaxing climate. And for Visit Monaco, they launched a video advertising campaign for their ‘FOR MORE’ promotion focused on showing travellers that Monaco is more than just a luxury destination and has everything any type of traveller could want. The campaign featured in one of Moscow’s most well-known trade / shopping centres on digital LED screens, targeting the high-end business and leisure audiences that frequent the area.
