Head of Action Bahrain, Fatema Isa Ebrahim, appointed to the Board of Directors for the Bahrain Economic Development Board

Congratulations to our own Fatema Isa Ebrahim, Head of Action’s Manama-based office, for being named to the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) by the HRH Crown Prince! Her appointment represents the youngest member ever to be nominated.
Fatema had this to say about the post, “I’m honoured to be part of the Bahrain Economic Development Board. We are now in a challenging yet exciting time where young leaders are contributing their efforts to diversify our economy. It’s a pleasure for me to be part of an inspiring environment and to be surrounded by smart and driven individuals that have transformed several sectors in Bahrain. I look forward to a successful tenure, providing my insights and strategies the best way I can.”
As Country Manager for the Action Bahrain office, Fatema is the driving force for the strategic development and implementation of communications for all of the agency’s local and international clientele. In addition, Fatema is heavily involved in the start-up and entrepreneurship space, working with award-winning start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs in New York and the GCC region. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations & Corporate Communications from New York University.
Her integrated role of being an entrepreneur and a communications professional gives her a unique perspective that will no doubt bring incredible value to her new position with the Bahrain Economic Development Board.
