Great Success for Inaugural Gulfood Manufacturing Event
The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) recently took on a new persona, transformed into a hub for local, regional and international food processing authorities, as what was hailed as the largest dedicated food processing trade event in the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia came to life.
The inaugural three day Gulfood Manufacturing November event attracted more than 1,100 exhibitors from around the world, consisting of suppliers who deliver world class food and beverage processing industry solutions. The occasion was conceived to capitalise on the unprecedented market demand for the region’s manufacturing, processing, packaging and ingredients sectors.
Attracting 26,329 visitors from 156 countries, Action Dubai contributed to the resounding success of the occasion by employing a strategic PR campaign – pre, during and post event – from June to November with press releases distributed across the GCC and the Middle Eastern region, as well as international titles from South Africa, Europe and Asia. Numerous interviews were also conducted with DWTC spokespeople and event keynote speakers throughout the campaign period.
Action Dubai managed to secure key English and Arabic media attendance over the course of the three days, which included the region’s top print media and TV Channels. Action also facilitated one-to-one interviews for leading media with event organisers and key exhibitors. As a result, great coverage was generated in print, online and broadcast media.
