The team organised a high-level press conference that brought together GE’s top management to speak to national representatives from print, online and broadcast media. Among the presenters were Cristian Colteanu, GE President & CEO for Romania, Bulgaria and Republic of Moldova, Silviu Cretean, Senior Services Director, GE Software Delivery Center in Bucharest and Pascal Berger, Vice-President, Grid Software Services, GE Power.
The event took place in the center’s new state-of-the-art headquarters on Aviatorilor 8 – the most high-tech and sustainable office building in Romania – and generated excellent coverage from top business, IT and HR publications, as well as top national TV outlet Digi24.
The software center was established in 2011 as part of the global Grid Solutions center of excellence and plays a significant role in achieving GE’s mission to become a Top 10 software company in the following years.
