Action Global Communications in Cyprus, in collaboration with the Cyprus Mail, the island’s oldest English language newspaper, has proudly produced a special one-off magazine supplement in celebration of five successful years of its alternative CSR project, mycyprusinsider.com. The special magazine supplement circulated free with the Sunday Mail on July 12th, distributed at kiosks across Cyprus.
Mycyprusinsider.com was first launched in 2015, aiming to make a positive impact on society at a time when the country was suffering from negative and detrimental publicity following tough economic times. The first English-language travel website of its kind succeeded in promoting Cyprus in a favourable light, generating global awareness of the country’s alternative tourism offerings, while promoting local talents, giving a voice to SMEs, startups and more. It has since grown from strength to strength, attracting a significant worldwide following and receiving accolades which place it at the top of its league, including a Cyprus Tourism Award in 2019.
The success of the endeavour has relied upon the diverse talent of the Action Cyprus media and publishing team – comprising content writers, editors and designers – alongside experts from Action Digital, including web designers, developers, SEO and social media specialists, as well as PR professionals from across Action Global Communication’s wide international network.
