We managed PR and communications for 24 Fintech 2024 – the country’s new financial services focused summit and exhibition, hosted by the Financial Sector Development Program (FSDP), Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), Capital Market Authority (CMA), Insurance Authority (IA), and co-organised by Fintech Saudi and Tahaluf.
our approach
The Action Saudi Team developed a PR strategy divided into three key areas:
First, content development involved drafting press releases both before and during the event, as well as creating Q&As to promote the inaugural edition of the show. The press office was responsible for managing all incoming media inquiries, including handling requests for comments, coordinating media visits, and arranging interviews to boost awareness of the exhibition. Lastly, event support on the ground focused on encouraging media attendance to drive footfall throughout the three days of the show. This included managing media on-site during the opening ceremony and conducting interviews with approved spokespeople.
To support the show in its communications plan, the team drafted and distributed 8x press releases and facilitated a total of 15x interviews for Annabelle Mander, Senior Vice President of Tahaluf; Ronit Ghose, CEO of Citi Bank; Jean Pesme, Global Director, Finance at the World Bank; and Leiming Chen, Sr VP of Ant Group among other key speakers and exhibitors, and drafted 5x features for 24 Fintech’s media partners. Top-tier media coverage included The Fintech Times, Bloomberg, Hindustan Times, Forbes, Arab News, Gulf Business, Asharq-Al-Awsat, Al Riyadh, Arab News, Caterer Saudi Arabia, Okaz, Arabian Business, Asharq Al-Awsat, Sky News Arabia and more.
