launching the IGB pipeline in Bulgaria

the challenge

Action Bulgaria was tasked with PR & logistics support for the launch of the IGB pipeline for one of its long-standing clients, ICGB AD.

our approach

The objective was to work in an extended joint team with the administration of the Bulgarian president and several key contractors to develop the overall creative concept of the event, secure its technical implementation, develop several videos specially for the event, secure media and guest invitations, registration, catering, press handling, content development and other aspects.

The landmark event was honored by the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, the President of the country, the President of Azerbaijan, the President of Serbia, the President of North Macedonia, the President of the European Commission, the Prime Minister of Greece and the  Prime Minister of Romania. Over seven delegations and more than 140 media representatives were on site during the event.

Action Bulgaria coordinated key tasks, took on the media handling for the local and international press and secured creative video content for the event. The team worked closely with the Bulgarian Presidency and coordinated with the European Commission as well. The agency’s press information and event photos on behalf of ICGB were quoted and published by over 70 foreign media outlets from Bulgaria all the way to China.

Action Bulgaria has been working on the project since 2015 and is behind the ground-breaking ceremony for IGB and numerous events on site during the active construction phase of the pipeline’s implementation.
