Boosting the buzz for Hell Energy with Bruce Willis

Since early 2018, our Action Serbia team has been hard at work supporting Hungarian brand HELL ENERGY – one of the world’s leading energy drink manufacturers – with projects boosting brand loyalty among a diverse Serbian audience, aimed mainly at men aged between 18 and 50.

The first project centered around the roll out of their new advertising campaign, and features one of the silver screen’s most iconic action heroes, Bruce Willis, as its ambassador.

The new ad starring the legendary actor, and the celebrity-driven campaign, were launched simultaneously in nearly 50 countries around the world in April 2018. The Action team provided full PR support for the advertising campaign to build up interest surrounding the star, establish a connection between the star and the brand, develop media partnerships, and engage social media influencers to boost the buzz surrounding the campaign.

The campaign press release alone garnered over 50 articles in the market’s top tier general and lifestyle media. Coupled with a press party, all activities resulted in more than 130 media mentions in general, business, trade, lifestyle and other media, in addition to a significant buzz on social media.

The second project involved the organisation of a special trip in 2019 for top Serbian online influencer, Cile Lestaric, to visit HELL’s factory, complete with an exclusive HELL Energy taste test.

In addition to our work in Serbia, our network has also succeeded in building a buzz for the brand through our offices in Ukraine and Greece.
