Air Serbia Soars to new Heights on its Two Year Anniversary
On occasion of the second anniversary of Air Serbia, Action Serbia recently organised a press conference for the national airline at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Belgrade.
Air Serbia presented its strong operational and financial results for the third quarter of 2015 at the event, and proudly announced the launch of non-stop flights between its hub at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport and New York’s JFK in June 2016.
Speakers at the event included Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Air Serbia and Mayor of Belgrade, Siniša Mali, Chairman of Air Serbia and President and Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, James Hogan, and Chief Executive Officer of Air Serbia, Dane Kondic.
Action was involved in the full organisation of the conference, while PR support included coordination with Air Serbia’s and Etihad Airways’ Corporate Affairs teams and the Serbian Government’s Media Relations Office, communication and coordination with key media in Serbia, development of extensive high-level briefing materials, press information, localisation of speaker presentations, and preparation of other written material.
The occasion was attended by top general interest, business, aviation and tourism media in Serbia, with more than 30 journalists and a number of TV channels present. One of the country’s key national TV channels, Prva TV, reported live from the press conference in its evening news programme, while great coverage was generated in a wide variety of national and international print and online media.
