Action wins 10 trophies at the Carob Awards
Action Global Communications was recognised with a total of 10 trophies at this year’s Carob Awards.
Hailed as the most prestigious recognition in the Cypriot advertising and marketing industry, the Carob Awards celebrate creativity and outstanding achievements across diverse categories, including PR, digital, production, and more.
Action’s purposeful project entitled ‘Look After Your Oranges’ for KEAN, raising awareness about breast cancer prevention, continues to shine year after year, earning a total of four accolades at this year’s Carob Awards, including gold and silver in the ‘Social Purpose’ category.
Commenting on the recognition, Chris Christodoulou, CEO, Action Global Communications, said, “Being named winners in the ‘Social Impact’ category is truly special, as it goes beyond creative excellence; it’s a testament to the power of communication in raising awareness, inspiring action, and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.”
Similarly, our work for egg bank Cryos International, was recognised with a gold award in the ‘Creative Use of Influencers’ category and a bronze for ‘Stakeholder Relations.’

In addition to the three gold awards, Action’s work was also recognised in the categories of experimental events, launch and tactical campaigns, reflecting the exceptional work delivered by our teams.

In the Digital category, four of Action’s campaigns stood out, each with significant social impact:
- Breast cancer awareness campaign “Look After Your Oranges” for KEAN – 2x gold awards
- Egg cryopreservation awareness campaign, “CRYOS INTERNATIONAL x KALIA ELEFTHERIOU – A ‘Fertile’ Alliance,” by Cryos International – 1x gold award
- “DAY8. Look After Your Oranges” campaign for KEAN – 2x silver awards
- “Let’s Get Real” campaign for KEAN -1x bronze award
In the PR category, Action received recognition for:
- Communications strategy for Ayia Napa Marina – 1x silver.
- Launch campaign for ALTIA in Cyprus – 1x bronze
- Fertility awareness campaign, “Cryos International – Breaking the Silence Around Fertility,” – 1x bronze
- Organisation of the experiential event “Ayia Napa Marina Christmas Village,” – 1x silver
The success follows Action Global Communications being named Mediterranean Consultancy of the Year earlier this year at the 2024 EMEA SABRE Awards by Provoke Media.
