Action UAE’s Nasr Ankar appointed vice-chair of PRCA MENA’s nextgen arabia group

Making waves in the industry, Nasr Ankar, Account Manager at Action UAE, has been selected for the role of NextGen Arabia Vice-Chair, where he will work to formulate and execute the group strategy and plans for up-and-coming Arab PR professionals. This will include organising a range of events such as round tables, panel discussions and workshops – identifying and inviting guest speakers etc. These events will explore current issues and teach members how to navigate the MENA region’s complex and ever-changing PR and communications landscape.

“It is an honour to represent Action Global Communications as the new Vice-Chair of PRCA MENA’s NextGen Arabia,” said Nasr. “As a father, I am passionate about developing the next generation, and it is my privilege to be given the chance to influence and mould a brighter future through empowerment. I am confident that the experience the Action family has given me over the past two years has equipped me for this role, and I look forward to representing the culture and values of our network.”

The appointment comes with PRCA MENA’s announcement of the return of its NextGen Group initiative, a mentoring programme that aims to inform, support and advise practicing PR and communications professionals across the MENA region. Split by language into two committees, NextGen and NextGen Arabia, the group will equip English and Arabic-speaking PR practitioners with all the tools to achieve significant career progression, whilst offering a forum for peer-to-peer discussion, engagement, and inspirational figures to ignite ambition.
