Action UAE takes on Beyond Developments Globe Soccer Dubai Awards

Action Global Communications UAE spearheaded the press office and media relations for the 2024 Beyond Developments Globe Soccer Dubai Awards, where the football world united to celebrate outstanding achievements in a star-studded event featuring Cristiano Ronaldo, Vinícius Jr., Jude Bellingham, Lamine Yamal, Thibaut Courtois, Neymar Jr. and others.

Hosted at Atlantis, The Palm, the 15th edition of the prestigious awards ceremony captured global attention, with more than 100 million votes cast by fans from over 200 countries and territories, surpassing the previous record of 70 million.

Vinícius Jr. took home the Best Men’s Player and Best Forward awards, while Bellingham was honoured with the Best Midfielder and Maradona awards. Adding to his stellar trophy collection, Cristiano Ronaldo clinched the Best Middle East Player award for the second successive year and received the prestigious Top Goalscorer of All Time accolade. The Emerging Player award went to Spain’s Lamine Yamal, while Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti was named Best Coach.

Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero and Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez received Special Career Awards, while Neymar, Rio Ferdinand, and Thibaut Courtois were recognised with Player Career Awards.

Before the award ceremony, Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois took to the stage at the 19th Dubai International Sports Conference, discussing the theme “Talented Football.”

For the second consecutive year, Action UAE was tasked with spearheading the press office and media relations for the event. The Beyond Developments Globe Soccer Dubai Awards garnered global attention with international and regional media representatives attending the red carpet and dedicated press areas, further solidifying Action’s role in managing world-class sporting events.

At the 2024 MEPRA Awards, Action Global Communications UAE was recognised in the Best Sports and Recreational Campaign category with a bronze accolade for our team’s work at the 14th Dubai Globe Soccer Awards.
