Action UAE Gets the Ball Rolling for 2016 Global Manufacturing & Industrialisation Summit

Action UAE recently drew media to a successful press conference at the Rosewood Hotel in Abu Dhabi announcing the Global Manufacturing & Industrialisation Summit (GMIS).

Hosted by the UAE’s Ministry of Economy and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) – in collaboration with the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Global Agenda Council for the Future of Manufacturing – the two-day summit set to take place in the second half of 2016 will focus on innovation, infrastructure, capital, markets, value chains, policy, society, environment and skills. The event will bring together representatives from global governments, industries, civil society, students and academia to shape the future of manufacturing.

The recent press conference was addressed by UAE Minister of Economy, Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, and Li Yong, Director General of UNIDO. Widely attended by the media from across the board, the event received great coverage in popular English and Arabic dailies, TV channels and online portals.
