Action Global Communications Russia was honoured by the Monaco Tourism Board (DTC Monaco) with the 2016 award for Best Monaco PR team worldwide, showing the Principality’s deep appreciation for all our team’s hard work as the DTC’s representative office in Russia, and the surrounding CIS countries. The award was presented during the closing celebration of the DTC’s annual meeting, which brought all 11 representative offices from around the globe together in Monaco for the week long gathering.

Representatives from the US, UK, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Russia, China, Singapore, Australia, Japan, and India took part in a series of meetings and workshops to share highlights and best practice from 2016 and discuss upcoming strategies for 2017. Taking place on the occasion of Monaco National Day, the teams also had the unique chance to participate in the celebrations.

2016 marked 10 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and saw a number of exciting activities for Monaco in Russia. One of the landmark events was the Monaco Night in Moscow. The gala event, organised by Action Russia, treated guests to an evening full of surprises, including a live ballet performance and singing waiters, as well as the opportunity for high ranking members of the Monaco Tourism Board and the Russian travel industry to network face to face.

Action Russia has been the DTC Monaco representative office in Russia since 2010, building awareness for the Principality as a top leisure and business destination to local and regional audiences. DTC Monaco is a government entity whose mission is to promote the Principality and all of its tourism entities. They provide a complete advisory and support service, free of charge, covering all areas of travel and tourism to the destination, whether it be holiday, business, investment or a combination of the three.
