Action Qatar supported Sabre Travel Network Middle East (STNME), the world’s leading technology provider to the travel industry, in the launch of their new office in Doha this month. The new office in Qatar highlights STNME’s continued growth across the Middle East, after first establishing a presence in the region more than 30 years ago.
Today, STNME has long-standing strategic relationships with some of the region’s largest travel agencies including Kanoo, ITL, and Dnata. As primary technology provider, Sabre has supported the growth and success of its agency customers by providing industry-leading technology and tailor-made solutions to enable agents to shop, book and manage travel for its clients.
The new office opening was marked by an exclusive opening ceremony that included clients, strategic partners, media and government officials, in addition to top Sabre executives from around the region.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was followed by a presentation from STNME CEO, Daniel Naoumovitch, who officially announced the appointment of the new country manager for Qatar, Ghassan Abu Khalaf. The presentation was delivered to more than 20 members of press who were happy to learn more about the unique nature of the Qatar travel industry and STNME’s investments in industry-leading solutions and expertise that support its growth and success.
Following the presentation, both Daniel Naoumovitch and STNME Regional Commercial Director – GCC & Global Partners Sabre Travel Network, Mr Ramzi Qassab, were on hand to provide further insight to tier 1 media during one-to-one interviews organized by the Action Qatar team, who not only acted as press office for the event, but also supported SABRE with coordination and logistics.
