Action Global Communications Bulgaria hosted successfully the first press conference of its long-term client, Boehringer Ingelheim – one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. Boehringer Ingelheim’s launched their breakthrough stroke prevention treatment Pradaxa and the launch coincided with the company’s 125th anniversary which was celebrated with a CSR initiative. Boehringer Ingelheim renovated the Children’s Clinics at the National Cardiology Hospital, making children’s hospital visits more colourful and comfortable. The event took place at the National Cardiology Hospital which was not only the site of the CSR initiative, but also the highly specialized clinical centre where the RE-LY trial programme was conducted in Bulgaria. The speakers included Dr Edit Pung, Branch Manager at Boehringer Ingelheim Bulgaria and Prof. Nina Gocheva, National Cardiology Consultant, among others. The launch of the revolutionary treatment and the anniversary celebration with a CSR touch attracted many journalists from respected print, online and broadcast media.
