Action Bulgaria Delights Media with Electrolux Foodie Extravaganza
Journalists were recently tantalized by a unique culinary experience at a special ‘Electrolux Secret Ingredient’ event organized by Action at the Hilton Sofia. As Electrolux outlined its growth strategy and highlighted household appliance industry trends, Andras Tamassy, Sales Area Head of South East Europe, went on to announce the interim Electrolux financial results for 2015 while presenting the team of the Balkan Store Ltd; a partner-provider of trade marketing and service activities of the Electrolux Group for Bulgaria.
Attention then turned to chef Andre Tokev, who worked his magic in a special mobile kitchen, pointing out the various uses of the Electrolux steam oven, while preparing and presenting a select gourmet menu, as journalists were welcomed to partake in the fun.
Dishes included a delicious steamed salmon fillet, served with mushy peas and mint, while mouthwatering pancake crisps served with caramel bananas, topped with chocolate sauce and vanilla cream went down a treat.
As journalists tucked into their meals, chef Tokev was inundated with questions about his secret tricks while working the Electrolux oven. The occasion received wide coverage in lifestyle and business media, as well as gastronomy and food blogs, with a great social media buzz also generated.
