To raise awareness and create buzz surrounding the launch of the first ever Gap store in Cyprus, Action put together a creative, fully integrated launch campaign.
To give the media an exclusive preview of the look and feel of Gap’s classic American styles, Action hosted a press event two months prior to the store opening. Among the journalists invited, leading business, fashion and lifestyle editors, as well as top fashion bloggers, to attend an American-themed brunch to further highlight the image, and roots, of the brand.
Adding an extra touch of glamour and hype to the event, famous Cypriot stylist Nicholas Ioannides, as well as fashion icon and blogger Constantina Evripidou, were on hand to give expert fashion tips, while local rising star and popular model Elisa Georgiou showed the media just how good the Gap clothes look, posing for photographs, wearing the exclusive merchandise.
Supporting the media launch event, Action also managed Gap’s pre-launch social media presence including countdown posts, and the creation of a well-received Facebook App, targeting the younger generation fashion-forward social media users. The app generated 550 followers, all of whom entered their details to win an in-store discount.
