Action Russia’s own Travel market experts impart their digital insights to audiences at the OTM Digital Days

On February 5th, Action Russia’s very own Rafael Gabrilyan and Anastasia Startseva took part in the programme of one of the most interesting events on the Russian travel market – OTM Digital Days, organised by the B2B platform. The event hosts marketing professionals from all areas of the Russian Travel sector – tourism boards, tour operators, travel agents and others – to learn how digital tools can be used to more effectively promote their business in the market.

Anastasia, being a representative of Dubai Tourism in Russia, Ukraine, CIS and Baltics, presented first within “The best digital cases of destination marketing in Russia” section. She explored the Dubai Expert programme to the audience, both those present at the Moscow Marriott Hotel and those watching live via online streaming video. Anastasia demonstrated the way NTOs can benefit from games while training B2B partners on their travel products. The Dubai Expert state-of-art intuitive interface and gamified processing were unveiled by Anastasia and aroused interest among other Tourism Boards taking part in the OTM Digital Days.

Later on that day, Rafael Gabrilyan participated in a professional discussion that aimed to find out the formula for the effectiveness of a digital advertising campaign, particularly in the travel industry. Participating in a panel with 4 other speakers, Rafael explained the C2C marketing concept to the audience of tourism board directors, tour operators and travel agencies. Rafael shared Action Russia’s vast experience in developing and managing campaigns using C2C main tools like hashtags/geotags, influencers and celebrities, opinion platforms and social media accounts – all working better with the help of a very important “umbrella” tool – UGC. All the tools were accompanied by cases demonstrating Action Russia’s expertise in the field.
