Action UAE’s Sandra Allimadi and Parisa Bukhowa have claimed an impressive ‘Silver’ in the first-ever Young Lynx PR competition at this year’s Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity.
Open to two-person teams of 30-years-of-age and younger, the Young Lynx PR competition saw our Dubai duo edge out rivals from Traccs, Edelman, Fleishman Hillard, Weber Shandwick and others to score another significant coup for Action UAE, coming just weeks after our MENA hub scooped the coveted Media Relations accolade at the inaugural PRCA MENA Awards.
Handed a phantom client brief for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), Sandra and Parisa created an innovative and engaging PR campaign in under 24 hours and then skillfully presented their strategy during a virtuoso five-minute tête-à-tête with a panel of industry leaders. Their work was chosen for its “exclusive insights, long-term vision and creative ‘handshake challenge’ concept” that had the judging panel convinced of its “go viral” potential.
